Kabataang Gitarista @NAF!
Kabataang Gitarista will perform at NAF!
The Kabataang Gitarista is a group of high school students
from Manila and Pasay public schools.
They have been taking classical guitar lessons
under renowned classical guitar pedagogue and arranger
Maestro Jose Valdez since August 2012.
The program aims to promote and develop appreciation
for classical guita music among public high school students,
to provide the students free classical guitar training
through a scholarship program,
and to develop a classical performing guitar ensemble.
The program is under the Artist Training Division
of the Arts Education Department
of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
